Naturalistic planting design and planting plan for a parklet, collaboration with East London based furniture and social enterprise thinkFOUND. The initiative was part of Waltham Forest’s scheme to support local organisations & businesses by providing functional & inviting outdoor areas.
Collaboration with Studio At No. 11
Working designs for a front and back garden in Wesel, Germany. Naturalistic planting, combined with permaculture principles and practicalities for a growing family. Studio At No. 11 is an interior design company based in Rotterdam. Design consultations for this project were carried out remotely.
Broadway Market
Planting design & planting for a south facing balcony. A selection of robust perennials, climbing and trailing plants were chosen to ensure that they will fill up the space over time as well as cope with the scorching sun in the summer.
Leyton
Planting & garden design for a garden in Leyton. The brief was to create a practical space for entertaining and relaxing. Pollinator friendly perennials were used extensively to complement the few existing plants along with low growing shrubs for a sense of structure and climbers to soften boundaries.
Walthamstow Village
Planting and garden design for a private garden in Walthamstow to transform a blank space into functional outdoor rooms. Subtle changes in planting were suggested to create different moods and definition.
The Silver Building
Planting design and planting for The Silver Building in Silvertown, a creative workspace and home to some of the industry’s household names. The building itself is renowned for its brutalist exterior, hence the design for a green tapestry of shrubs & perennials to create a much needed cooling effect.
Leytonstone
Garden and planting design for a private garden in Leytonstone. Stark contrast and modern planting were selected to reflect the client’s contemporary house.
